May/June 2012 WASSCE Results is Out- How to Check it

The results of May/June 2012 West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) have been released. The results were released on 10th of August, 2012 by The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) at its National office in Yaba, Lagos.

The breakdown of this year results showed:

A total of 1, 695, 878 sat for the exam.

923, 974 candidates are male while 748, 250 candidates are female.

1, 545, 004 results were fully released which represent 91.10% of the total candidates that sat for the exam. (more…)

The West African Examination Council, (WAEC) 2011 Result and How to check it?

The West African Examination Council, (WAEC) on 10th August, 2011 released results of the May/June 2011 West African Senior School Certificate Examination, (WASSCE) with 30 per cent of the candidates making credits in both English and Mathematics. Details of the result showed that the results of 81,573 candidates representing 5.29 per cent were withheld. (more…)

West African Examinations Council (WAEC) May-June 2010 Result Released

The WEST African Examination Council, WAEC, yesterday, announced the released of the May/June 2010 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASCE) result with only 337,071 candidates, representing 24.94 per cent, obtaining credits in English Language, Mathematics and at least three other subjects which are the requirements for admission into tertiary institutions.

Head of the Nigeria National office of WAEC, Dr. Iyi Uwadiae, who announced the results, said of the overall total number of candidates, 1,278,843, representing 94.62 per cent had their results fully processed, while 72,714 candidates, (more…)
