The National Power Training Institute of Nigeria (NAPTIN) is calling for University/Polytechnic graduates who desire a career in the Nigerian power industry after privatization to apply for a one year graduate skills development programme aimed at improving their potentials for rewarding careers in the electricity sector.

Introduction

MTN Project Fame West Africa Season 5 is here again!

MTN Project Fame West Africa is a yearly competition with 15 aspiring artistes selected from Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone and Liberia. The aspiring artistes are then groomed for success in a tough performance academy.

With MTN Project Fame West Africa, you are exposed and taught on how to become a music superstar.

The selected contestants will also be given the opportunity to meet with other established superstar.

Lagos State University, LASU students get Payment Deadline Extension

The last Miss Rivers State was held in the year 1986. Miss Uju Tariah emerged winner that year. Since then the state has not experienced the Miss Rivers State beauty pageant. This time, who will be crowned Miss Rivers State 2012?

The West African Examination Council, (WAEC) on 10th August, 2011 released results of the May/June 2011 West African Senior School Certificate Examination, (WASSCE) with 30 per cent of the candidates making credits in both English and Mathematics. Details of the result showed that the results of 81,573 candidates representing 5.29 per cent were withheld. (more…)
