Benue State University, Bsu 2012/2013 Post-UTME Screening Exercise is out!

We wish to inform all our esteemed members that the Benue State University, Markudi has fixed date for its 2012/2013 post-utme screening exercise.

The Post UTME Screening Exercise for admission of candidates into undergraduate programmes of Benue State University, Makurdi for the 2012/2013 academic session has been scheduled to take place as between Friday, 8th and Saturday, 9th June, 2012. Accordingly, candidates who chose the Benue State University as Most Preferred First and More Preferred Second Choices are advised to report to the University for the Exercise.

2 Eligibility
Candidates that chose Benue State University, Makurdi as their Most Preferred First Choice and More Preferred Second Choices and scored 180 in their UTME are eligible to sit for the Post UTME screening, except for MBBS programme where only candidates who scored 200 points and above shall be eligible. Note, However, that for candidates who chose as their Most Preferred First Choice and More Preferred Second Choice the MBBS programme and scored a minimum of 180 points, but below 200 points shall be allowed to be screened under programmes in the Faculty of Science where their UTME subject combinations are applicable.

3. Candidates are to print the 2012/2013 time table for the Post UTME Screening Exercise on the university website: www.bsum.edu.ng

Batch ‘A’ Morning Session: Faculty of Social Sciences
Date: Friday 8th June, 2012
Venue: 1st and 2nd Campuses of the University and College of Health Sciences
Final Accreditation: 8.00am – 9.00am
Screening: 10.00am – 11.00am

Batch ‘B’ Afternoon Session: Faculties of Arts and Education
Date: Friday 8th June, 2012
Venue: 1st and 2nd Campuses of the University and College of Health Sciences
Final Accreditation: 1.00 p.m. – 2.00 p.m.
Screening: 3.00 p.m. – 4.00 p.m.

Batch ‘C’ Morning Session: Faculties of Management Sciences and Science
Date: Saturday 9th June, 2012
Venue: 1st and 2nd Campuses of the University and College of Health Sciences
Final Accreditation: 8.00am – 9.00am
Screening: 10.00am – 11.00am

Batch ‘D’ Afternoon Session: Faculty of Law and MBBS
Date: Saturday 9th June, 2012
Venue: 1st and 2nd Campuses of the University and College of Health Sciences
Final Accreditation: 1.00 p.m. – 2.00 p.m.
Screening: 3.00 p.m. – 4.00 p.m.

PROCEDURE FOR PAYMENT & REGISTRATION
Candidates shall be required to:

i. Pay a non-Refundable fee to Benue State University, Makurdi Online in any of the designated banks using their UTME Registration Number as User ID and Password as follows;.

Screening fee – N1,000.00
Processing fee – N1,500.00
Total – N2,500.00

ii. The designated banks are as follows:

iii. Using your UTME Registration No. proceed to register Online for the Post UTME screening exercise at the designated Centres on Campus from 30th May to 7th June, 2012.

iv. Proceed with the Online registration Print-out and receipt of payment to the Faculty of your programme of choice for documentation and signing by the Dean of the Faculty. v. Produce JAMB UTME Online Result Slip with a recent passport photograph affixed to be submitted during the Screening Exercise.

vi. Candidates are advised to adhere strictly to the schedule and their choices of programmes at UTME.
