FEDERAL UNIVERSITY, OTUOKE, BAYELSA STATE
2011/2012 PUTME SCREENING EXERCISE, 1ST AND 2ND CHOICE ONLY CANDIDATES
September 15, 16, 2011
The general public is hereby informed that the 2011/2012 Session Post- UTME Aptitude Test of the Federal University Otuoke (FUO), will take place as indicated below:
1. ELIGIBILITY
* Only Candidates who made Federal University Otuoke, as 1st or 2nd choice will be allowed to take the Post-UTME Aptitude Test
* Minimum UTME score to qualify for the Test is 180
2. REGISTRATION
Registration is online on our website at www.fuotuoke.edu.ng , starting from Wednesday August 31, 2011 through Tuesday September 13, 2011.
The Registration Process is as follows:
i. Go to any Diamond Bank or Skye Bank branch in Nigeria along with your UTME Result Slip.
ii. Purchase an e-pin slip for Federal University, Otuoke Post-UTME Aptitude Test for a fee of N1000 Naira (one thousand naira) only. This fee does not cover bank charges.

iii. Go online and log onto www.fuotuoke.edu.ng and click on “Apply for Post-UTME Aptitude Test” Complete the application for Post-UTME Aptitude Test online.
iv. The Passport photograph: Applicants must ensure that the computer they are using for the online registration has a web camera. The passport photograph will then be captured by using the web-camera. You will not need to scan a photograph and upload for the registration.
v Print out the generated Acknowledgement Letter and your Application Form. Your seat number for the Aptitude Test will be indicated on the form. You must bring these items (UTME Result Slip, Acknowledgment Letter and Application Form) along to the Aptitude Test venue. Candidates are advised to make photocopies of the Acknowledgement Letter and the Application Form. Candidates without the UTME Result Slip, Acknowledgement Letter and Application Form will not be allowed to do the Post-UTME Aptitude Test.
vi Notification for Post-UTME Aptitude Test
You will receive a notification through SMS via cell phone and by e-mail indicating whether or not you are qualified to take the Aptitude Test. The dates for your Aptitude Test will also be available on our website www.fuotuoke.edu.ng
NOTE
1. Your application will not be successful if:
· Your UTME score is less than 180
· The appropriate e-pin was not used
· If you enter a State of origin different from the one indicated on your JAMB Registration Form.
2. Always check your e-mail box for mails.
3. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTION
READ AND FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY
i. Passport Photographs: Scanned photographs will not be accepted by the online registration system. Ensure that the computer you are using has a web camera which will take your passport photograph automatically.
ii. Use exactly the same name in exactly thesame order as you used in your UTME.
iii. Submit a valid e-mail address and valid phone number in your Registration Form. ( Federal University, Otuoke will not be held responsible if you use invalid e-mail and telephone numbers)
4. SCHEDULE OF APTITUDE TEST
The following faculties will take their Aptitude Test as follows:

5. TIME:
Screening Period 7am-8am each day
6. VENUE: Niger Delta University, Wilberforce Island
7. SPECIFIC VENUES:
Notice of specific halls for the various individual tests will be placed on our website, www.fuotuoke.edu.ng , and at the gate of Niger Delta University (NDU) on the date of the tests. Please check for your hall using your seat number.
8. DATE, TIME AND VENUE OF APTITUDE TESTS ARE ALSO POSTED ONLINE ON OUR WEBSITE www.fuotuoke.edu.ng. THE SCREENING PROCESS INVOLVES BIOMETRIC TECHNIQUES SUCH AS FINGER PRINTING.
9. PUNCTUALITY & ACCOMMODATION
CANDIDATES ARE STRONGLY ADVISED TO REPORT VERY EARLY EACH DAY FOR THE TESTS. CANDIDATES RESIDING OUTSIDE YENAGOA ARE ADVISED TO COME BEFORE THE DAY OF THE TEST. CANDIDATES ARE TO MAKE THEIR OWN ACCOMMODATION ARRANGEMENTS. CANDIDATE WHO ARRIVE AT THE VENUE AFTER 8.00 AM WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TAKE THE TESTS
10. WRITING MATERIALS
CANDIDATES SHOULD BRING THE FOLLOWING ITEMS INTO THE SCREENING HALL
* HB pencils and erasers. No biros or pens will be allowed.
* Acknowledgement Letter and Application Form
11. CAUTION!
DO NOT BRING THE FOLLOWING ITEMS INTO THE SCREENING TESTS HALL
* Mathematical tables
* Calculators
* GSM phones brought into the hall will be confiscated.
12. DISQUALIFICATION
CANDIDATES WHO MAKE FALSE DECLARATION OF UTME SCORES AND ORDINARY LEVEL GRADES (SSCE, GCE, NECO AND THEIR EQUIVALENTS), AS WELL AS STATE OF ORIGIN SHALL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR ADMISSION.

Godday sir. I made 171 in my JAMB and did not put FUOTUEKE as my first nor second choice because I was not aware of the sch then. Now that am aware, am desperately in need of the admission. Pls inform me if there is a change of plan. Thank u.
please for the sake of those who do not know that otueke univesity will actually be conducting a test for admission,am pleading with the authorities to also make a provission for such people.there are those who were not informed about this,please let the authorities consider them as this will also help to reduce the no.of unimployed youth in the town and beyond.thanks.
