University of Lagos Invite Candidates for Newly Approved Couses Effective from 2011/2012 Academic Year

NOTICE TO THE PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS AND GENERAL PUBLIC ON NEWLY APPROVED COURSES BY THE UNIVERSITY SENATE EFFECTIVE 2011/2012 ACADEMIC YEAR FOR ADMISSIONS

This is to bring to the attention of all prospective candidates for admissions, the general public and 2011/2012 UTME candidates in particular that the Senate of the University of Lagos has approved the above listed programmes. The National Universities Commission has also given consent to the commencement for the following programmes in the respective College and Faculties.

COLLEGE OF MEDICINE

- B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing

- B.Sc. (Hons) Medical Laboratory Technology

FACULTY OF SCIENCE

- B.Sc. (Hons) Geo-physics

- B.Sc. (Hons) Geology

- B.Sc. (Hons) Fisheries

FACULTY OF EDUCATION

- B.Sc. (B.Ed.) Early Childhood

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates who made University of Lagos their first choice and scored 200 and above for the programmes as stated.
The entry requirements for the programmes are as stated below:

A copy of the completed form with candidate’s photocopies of UTME results slip, and ‘O’ level result should be submitted to the Admissions Office, Room 174, 1^st Floor Senate House, University of Lagos on or before 15^th August, 2011.

please i’m on awaitin result but already av a result with credit in eng,math,chem,bio,geo,Agric sc,econs,but a pass in physics and i’m interested in geology though my result fits d jamb requirement for geology but i saw physics instead of bio on lag’s web,did phy,math,chem wit 60′s in the three please can i apply.I am dying.Grace shall not elude in jesus name.plz help dont let me run mad.

Goodday, I’m a registered nurse with 4yrs post qualification experience. I want to know if I can apply for Direct entry admission to study Bsc in nursing. I’m really interested in coming to unilaterally for the course.
