Federal Government Takes over Ladoke Akintola University of Technology LAUTECH

FOLLOWING the management crisis that have been rocking the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, for over four months now, the proprietors, Oyo and Osun State governments, have said they can no longer continue to own the university as a joint venture.

Accordingly, the Federal Government is to take over the management of the university. Already, a transition committee to oversee the affairs of the university is to be set up by the National Universities Commission (NUC) for the next three months. (more…)
