Following the submission of result(s) by candidates who made the University of Ibadan their First Choice Most Preferred Institution, ALL prospective candidates are expected to check their e-mails, GSM phones (SMS) and the University’s website for the status of their application from the Friday, 23 July 2010.

Contrary to ealier reports that the police rescued the four abducted journalists, kidnapped a week ago at Umuafouka junction, in Obingwa Local Government Council of Abia State, facts emanating from the state revealed that the journalists were released by their abductors in the early hours of today.
According to eyewitnesses, the released journalists were looking disheveld and unkept with some of them wearing bathroom slippers.
They were said to have been fed on bread and water as they were moved from one location to the other, in the forest during their captivity.

This is to invite all candidates who chose Nasarawa State University as their First and Second Choice and who scored 180 and above in the April, 2010 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by JAMB to the Screening Exercise of the University. The exercise will take place in the University at 10:00am on the dates indicated against the faculty of their choice listed below. Candidates should be at their assigned Venues at 8:00am prompt.

REQUIREMENT FOR SCREENING
Candidates are expected to come along with the following:
1. Originals copy of the UTME result slip
2. Certificate of State and Local Government Indigenization
3. Two recent passport-sized photographs
4. Writing materials
5. Evidence of payment of N1000 non-refundable processing fee payable to Nasarawa State University, at any of the branches of the following Banks;
a. Diamond Bank Plc (A/C No. 0732050000110)
b. Oceanic Bank Plc (A/C No. 2161301004701)
Payment of processing fee should be made using the University customized bank tellers and receipt collected before the stipulated date of screening.
This is to inform all candidates that stock in the Federal University of Technology, Akure post-UTME 2010/2011 that the screening result has been released
all candidates who took part in the screening exercise are to check for their scores by visiting www.futa.edu.ng and click on “Check Post UTME Screening Result”,
Login with your UTME /DE Jamb Registration Number and CODE NUMBER to print their screening result.
The CODE NUMBER is located at the bottom of the Payment/Exam Schedule Slip.
NOTE: Please use Microsoft Internet Explorer to check your result as other browsers may give you problem!
All candidates who chose Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (ABU) as their first choice university and have satisfied the following pre-requisites are eligible to attend the screening exercise which is scheduled to take place on 3rd ,4th , 5th and 7th August, 2010 at 8.00 a.m each day.
1. Candidates who scored 180 and above in UTME for science based courses;
2. Candidates who scored 190 and above in UTME for Arts, Social Science, Law and administration;
3. All candidates who fall within the cut off point in (a) and (b) above must have the prescribed subject combination in the UTME examination as required by their proposed courses of study (information as contained in the JAMB brochure for UME candidates)
N.B THOSE WHOSE UTME SUBJECT COMBINATION ARE NOT CORRECT NEED NOT COME AS THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE
Candidates who qualify for the screening exercise as listed above are required to pay a non-refundable fee of One Thousand Naira (N1,000.00) only.

The University of Lagos hereby announces the rescheduling of the 2010/2011 Post-UTME screening exercise into all courses/programmes.
Accordingly, the screening exercise has been shifted to commence on Monday, July 12, 2010.
The shift in date is occasioned by logistics/technical hitches.
All candidates who sat for the test on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 should regard it as practice test.

The University of Ilorin invites all candidates who have applied for admission into the University to visit University of Ilorin website www.unilorin.edu.ng Undergraduate portal for details on procedures for the exercise. The Deadline for the uploading of required information is 22nd July, 2010. However candidates awaiting any result but who have registered before 22nd July, 2010 have the opportunity to upload their results on/or before 15th August, 2010.
